South County Baptist is a growing church with many areas to serve.  We're excited about what God is doing in our lives and want to share His message with those around us.

Jesus said "go into the highways ... compel them to come in, that My house may be filled" (Luke 14:23).

Text Box: Compel "them"… Each of us have people in our own lives whom we can personally reach. Jesus describes "them" in Luke 14:21.

Text Box: "So that My house may be filled." Why did Jesus include this phrase? He could have stopped with Go & Compel. A full house creates excitement and momentum. Empty seats breed discouragement.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

By our willingness to "go" as Jesus commanded, we ask Him to help us "reach " those He's placed in our lives, so that His house is "filled".

Eight Assumptions for Growth:

 

1. God loves all people

2. All are separated from God by sin

3. I (we) have a mandate from God to share His redemptive message

4. I (we) must get people into the local church membership

5. Bible education must follow salvation

6. Sunday Bible Study is imperative – absences are serious

7. A church need every kind of growth (both qualitative and quantitative)

8. Pastor, Leadership & Members must be willing to pay the price
